Dr. Taylor Martin

Taylor Martin’s Chiropractic training started with the foundation of kinesiology, physiology, athletics, and personal training. This background has offered Dr. Taylor an appreciation for detail to the fundamentals of human movement, the benefits of adapting to stress and the consequences of compensating to stress (physical, emotional, and chemical).

Taylor received his Chiropractic training at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and focuses his care on the techniques of Diversified, Activator, Thompson and upper cervical. Along with having non-surgical spinal decompression available, Taylor and this office is equipped with the skill and tools to find the best way to care for your spine and nervous system to meet your goals of care.

With a passion for seeing his patients thrive, Taylor caters his technique to a wide range of patients. Whether you are working in the trades, in the office, competing as an athlete, retired, or a young family, everyone can benefit from having their spine checked and their nervous system operating to optimize your health.

Taylor has cottaged and worked in Muskoka at every opportunity and is now pleased to call it home with his wife and dog.

Out of the office you will find Taylor at the local rink playing hockey, at the gym, Lakeside or exploring some of Muskoka’s and Ontario’s hidden gems.

Dr. Josephine Edvardsson

Holistic Chiropractor | Sweden-born | Folk music fan & nature explorer

Dr. Josephine, often known as Dr. Jo, was born in Sweden, trained in New Zealand, and now happily calls Huntsville home.

She is a holistic chiropractor passionate about supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and thrive. She has a special interest in caring for pregnant women and children but welcomes people of all ages who want to feel more aligned, connected, and well in their day-to-day life.

Dr. Jo tailors her care using a variety of adjusting techniques, including Manual, Activator, Thompson, and Webster, to best suit each individual.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jo can usually be found cooking something cozy, tending to her ever-growing collection of plants, or exploring the outdoors—especially as she discovers all the beauty Muskoka has to offer. She’s also a big fan of soul-nourishing music, with artists like Hozier, Allen Stone, and Hermanos Gutiérrez often on repeat.

She’s currently making her way through the best local cuisine Huntsville has to offer, one bite at a time.

If you’re looking for chiropractic care that is supportive and personalized, Dr. Josephine would love to meet you.

Linda Wilson

Many of you know this wonderfully bubbly woman. She has been the quarterback of the team and running this office for almost 20 years! Linda can literally tell you about every client who walks in our doors. She manages the front desk effortlessly with her infectious laugh! We are SO grateful to have Linda as she is such an integral part of the team!

You may catch Linda out on the local ski trails, both cross-country and downhill, or taking advantage of hiking, kayaking, or swimming on our surrounding lakes. She is a true Muskoka Gal!

Fun Fact: Linda’s son, Andrew, who graduated in 2014 is also a chiropractor and practices out of Port Elgin.

Cassidy Freeburn

Originally from Gravenhurst, Cassidy grew up loving the outdoors—whether it was snowmobiling, four-wheeling, fishing, or camping, she was always up for an adventure.

Cassidy recently graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Trent University, a journey that deepened her passion for health and wellness. She’s now setting her sights on a future career in chiropractic.

Her curiosity and love for new experiences also took her abroad—she spent over a year living and studying in Australia, which perfectly matches her laid-back and adventurous spirit. During that time, she had the chance to travel extensively, exploring not only Australia but also New Zealand and Singapore.

Fun fact: Since Cassidy spends so much time outside, she has barely seen any movies!

Katie Martin

For those who are still wondering, Katie is Dr. Taylor’s other half. She and Taylor officially tied the knot in September 2022. Katie is originally from Muskoka, so she was very happy to come back from their adventures in New Zealand and settle down here.

She is thrilled to be part of the team and learning all of the office management tips and tricks from Linda. Her enthusiasm for health and wellness as well as her bright smile creates a welcoming atmosphere.

She is a qualified Physical Education Teacher and loves watching the community take control of their health and well-being.

Fun Fact: Katie is a lover of anything outdoors and of course good food!

Kuma

Meet the “real” boss of the office, Kuma.

Kuma is Dr. Taylor and Katie’s dog and has been joining us at the office for over half a year now. He comes everyday except Tuesdays, and is an extremely HARD WORKER.

It is a really tough job receiving belly rubs, treats, ear rubs galore and all the love everyday. He is exhausted by the end of each day as he plays too much tug of war and gives so much love and affection to our clients.

We adore having him in the practice and enjoy the smiles he puts on everyone’s faces.

Fun Fact: Kuma stands for ‘kumara’ which Kiwis call a sweet potato.
